A private Premier League fantasy football league needed their own platform — something tailored to their rules, their community, and their season. We designed and built it from scratch, end to end.

The challenge
The league had outgrown generic fantasy football tools. They needed custom scoring rules, a better participant experience, and a platform that felt built for them — not adapted from something else. The real challenge wasn't technical; it was understanding exactly what the league needed before anything was built.
Approach — Operational
We started by mapping the league's rules, workflows, and pain points before writing a line of code. The solution was designed collaboratively — ensuring every feature reflected how the league actually operated, not how a generic platform assumed it would.
Approach — Specification
Single-page React application built with Vite, deployed via Vercel. Live gameweek scoring via API integration, automated fixture tracking with FA Cup and abandoned match filtering, custom star player bonus system, simulation mode and bulk diagnostics tooling for semi and fully automated testing.

A fully operational platform running a live season, maintained by a single operator with zero infrastructure overhead
